About us
The State Reserves Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ADEA) is a public legal entity established by the Decree No. 1456 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated October 7, 2021.
In accordance with the Charter approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 10, 2022, ADEA takes measures to ensure the stability of the supply chain of strategically important consumer goods and to prevent short-term sharp price fluctuations of these goods in the domestic market.
In addition, the Agency participates in the creation of emergency reserves — including various types of equipment, special and personal protective means — within the framework of civil defense measures conducted to prevent emergencies, mitigate their effects, and ensure the uninterrupted operation of strategically important facilities.
ADEA also monitors the availability of mobilization reserves, established by the relevant state authorities to meet the country's defense and mobilization needs, ensuring they exist in the necessary volume.
The regular renewal and effective management of strategic and emergency reserves is one of the Agency’s primary responsibilities.
